The Permanent Thought Collection

I have always been passionate about painting and making music. With the Permanent Thought Collection, I explore how I can bring these passions together in order to tell stories which combine elements of magical realism with traditional techniques.

Though largely self-taught, I studied fine art at Winchester School of Art and have exhibited my work in locations across the South of England and recently Croatia.

My work is a circle of waves, leaves, stars and cells which circles back again, like a continuous creativity loop. Reflective of earth and life itself. 

Whether or not we are there to witness the eternal change in life, it goes on. My work attempts to capture through the lens of a strange, modern mythology, snapshots of the psyche and the magic that it might behold- if only glimpsed beyond the veil. 

Story-telling through art is abstruse, impossible to truly frame, so it goes to say that it should speak for itself. 

Everyone has their own symbolic language, definitions of what art means, art in any form can be divisive.

My works are meant to speak through their own fantastical nature to the depths of the subconscious.
